Foods To Reduce Acne

Having sufficient amounts of Vitamin B also helps in the maintenance of skin health. Studies show that women taking B6 and B3 (Niacin) supplements greatly reduce acne associated with the menstrual cycle. Foods that help reduce acne are mostly nuts like peanuts, walnuts, fresh chestnuts and hazelnuts. Including fruits like avocados, bananas and dried figs as well as wheat products in your diet assist in nutrient loss during this period. Meat products such as veal and beef steaks and light meat like chicken and dairy products, fish are all rich in Vitamin B6 and B3.
Vitamin C food groups also help reduce the presence of acne. Most fruits have Vitamin C that is rich in antioxidants. Omega-3 also called vitamin F2 and Omega-6 helps in protecting hormonal imbalances that also causes acne in most people. There are many other foods and supplements that help prevent or reduce acne but it is always wise to do process of elimination in your food diet.
